The seasonal oceanography surveys in Šibenik port (The analysis of termohaline parametar values)

Abstract

Lying in the southern part of the Šibenik harbour, in summer period Sveti Petar bay is completely thermaly separated from the other part of the harbour. Such thermal barrier at the line connecting the point Kulina and the cove Dumboka considerably influences horizontal distribution of other oceanographic parameter values. In vertical distribution, the data show a dominant influence of salinity on the sea water density. As all the data have synoptic value, conslusions refer only to the period of their collecting.
