Abstract

The investigators tasks in the criminal proceedings will now be carried out by other government employees, except police officers. Unfortunately, the legal Acts of government bodies do not contain provisions for regulating the operational level of such civil servants engagement. The incompatibility of these Acts and the Criminal Procedure Act could lead to specific problems in practice. In this sense, the article deals with the administrative acts and opportunities for their harmonization with the Criminal Procedure Act. However, the emphasis will be on the police officers because most of investigators will be appointed from the police.
