Abstract

Over time, frequent occurrence of corrosion products in the exploitation phase pipe lines power plant were observed. To determine the cause the methods of x – ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy were used. The samples were separated as powder or plates. The prepared samples were measured with film (Debye Schererr camera) or counting technique on Philips diffractometer (with use of CoKα radiation) and scanning electron microscope, the Joel type. Using the external method the thickness of film was determined. The obtained results were analysed mathematically.
