Abstract
Stability of the conditions of vacuum, on udders is what all milking systems aim at. Because of the great lengths, relatively small diameters over bridges of pipelines over feeding alleys and also because of bad milkers' routine work constant vacuum is not attained in pipelines, not either on udders. In milking parlours with pipelines mounted high and low the vacuum is stable in the pipeline during milking, still, there are oscillations on udders. Due to the greater vacuum changes during the transportation in pipelines mounted high and with recorders milk contains more free fatty acids (1.47 mmol/l) than milk from a pipeline mounted low and withour recorders (0.97 mmol/l).
