Abstract

The paper starts from the premise that a construction product may be used on a construction project only if its usability has been duly proven. Appropriate provisions from the Construction Act are described, commented and cited. The following issues are covered: compliance of construction products, technical approvals, and ban of sale and use of contraction products. Other relevant regulations are also cited, and the need to enact appropriate technical regulations is emphasized. In conclusion, a basic information is given about Technical Regulations relating to cement used in concrete structures.
