Innovative materials and technologies in the construction and maintenance of concrete structures

Abstract
Modern innovative materials and technologies used in the construction and maintenance of concrete structures are presented. An emphasis is placed on innovative materials that have emerged at the turn of this century in the construction and maintenance of concrete structures. The authors stress that in fact no significant innovative technologies have been created over that period, and that developments were registered mostly in the scope of use and improvement of existing products. Some investigations the authors made in this area are also presented.
