The imperative of every procedure in dentistry is to save the tooth by all possible means. This must especially be emphasised when dental trauma of young permanent teeth is in question. Modern methods in treating crown and root fractures make possible the preserving of natural teeth in the jaw, which is of great importance from the standpoint of the masticatory function, growth and development of the jaws, aesthetic and phonetics. These three cases also shown the clinical procedures by which very complicated crown and root fractures can be brought back into function. There is a clinical review for every method giving the practitian the freedom to chose which method he will apply.
