Maximum Air Temperatures in Zagreb, Croatia

Abstract

Zagreb influences maximum air temperatures and their distribution forming a „heat island“. Isothermes are in accordance with the configuration of the city. Absolute maximum temperatures during one of the hottest day, July 8th 1957, were 0,5-0,8 degrees higher in the centre than in periphery.
