Abstract

A case is described of a radiopaque needle like foreign body in the maxillary sinus. The foreign body was surgically removed and found to be an endodontic silver point. Despite a long interval (three years) between the silver point displacement into the sinus and development of sinusitis, we recommend that foreign bodies displaced to the maxillary sinus should be removed as soon as possible.
