From the History of the Department for Dental Pathology of the School of Dental Medicine of the University of Zagreb. Specialization of Dental Pathology

Abstract
Since 1972, a postgraduate course on uDental and oral pathology with periodontology” has been held in the School o f Dental Medicine University o f Zagreb. During this period 124 candidate have passed
the final exam (77 female and 47 male) out o f a total number o f 148 o f these candidates, 75 chose dental pathology as the basic specialistion, 20 chose oral pathology and 29 periodontology. In 1995. The Ministry of Health, Republic o f Croatia divided the tripartite course into three autonomous postgraduate cources: (iDental pathology and endodontology”, Oral Pathology” and uPeriodontology”.
