Abstract

Etiology o f the OLP has not been cleared up completely until today, although this disease is considered to be a mucocutane autoimune disturbance. Investigation of lymphocyte activity in the persons with OLP has been carried out to the connection between lymphocyte activity and frequency of the disease. It has been found that local immune response shows the cell mediated immunity in patogenesis o f the OLP. This investigation has been carried out in perifery blood o f 30 patients of both sexes, 28 females and 2 males. T cell subpopulations CD 4 and CD 8 as well as B lymphocytes were included by the method o f Jackson and Warner. The functional ability o f lymphocytes is examined by migration inhibition, blastictransformation by the method of Sabioneello and Dekaris. Most of patients showed decreasing values o f T lymphocytes. The values of B lymphocytes have not been changed significantly. The values o f
subpopulations o f T lymphocytes showed decrease from the standard
values. Functional ability testes o f lymphocytes show the increased
activity o f inhibition migration in OLP.
