Abstract

The clinician whose patient evidences an unexplained exacerbation of oral manifestations should ask the patient what medications he has been taking. By scanning the drugs listed alphabetically, the practitioner can evaluate the drug-induced side-effect potential of the medications in the oral cavity. Only registered drugs in the Republic of Croatia are included in this presentation which is designed to help the practitioner identify the medications which may cause this condition. A consultation with the patient’s physician to modify the etiologic factors may prevent severe oral destruction.
