Temperature regulation in the bath water for washing greasy parts

Abstract
The paper presents the use of Chien-Hrones-Reswick rules for the adjustment of the PID controller
parameters since its usage gives the best results for monitoring regulated sizes. A simulation model was designed in
MATLAB using the Chien-Hrones-Reswick rules. A model for an experiment in which the Chien-Hrones-Reswick rules
were used has been designed for the presentation of the observed values response. The parameters obtained by this
method are the parameters of PID controller programmed in the software package Step 7 Basic. Using the PID
controller programmed in such a way, the temperature regulation was performed to the value of 75ºC in the bathtub
for washing greasy parts. This will enable obtaining default values, a good temperature regulation. In the same way, a
different value can be regulated, where a greater precision control is required.
