Abstract

Firefighting is one of the most demanding jobs of people. Fire fighting and other types of interventions lead to a situation where staff can perform various health problems such as cardiac arrest, stroke, spinal injuries, bone and joint and muscle injury. It is also not negligible, nor the fact that the static duty firefighter job after several years of such work may cause some changes such as weight gain and decline of many abilities such as muscular strength, flexibility, speed, etc. Finally, overweight and no movement lead to occurrence of diseases such as type 2 diabetes, atherosclerosis, diseases of muscles and joints, spine diseases, etc.
All this leads us to the fact that it is very important to maintain good physical fitness, and body weight.
