Comparing this year’s summer with mean Ten-year incidence of weather regimes shows that the northern and central Adriatic significantly increased frequency of the radiation regime.
Evaluating the statistical data that indicate the size of the burned area in relation to the number of active fires and the time-out, it can be concluded that the fires were on the stage and the operating system responded quickly which prevented the emergence of even greater damage. A substantial part of the burned vegetation on mine suspected areas, neglected and undeveloped land as well as the difficult terrain for fire technique. It is therefore understandable that the statistics on fires reported an increased number of fires and the number of hectares burnt areas.
