Abstract
The increase of maritime transport with accomplished 34 billion tons of cargo in the year of 2010. affected the increase of travellers up to 18 billion on cruises. About 50 years ago cruises were taking place on sailing areas mostly around North America and Mediterranean in which most of them still do up to this day, but other sailing areas over the world became of interest for many cruises. The increase and higher number of capacity of cruisers are a result of fast growing and spreading of cruising trend from year to year. The soul purpose and goal of this article is to analyse and show the dispersion of cruises by individual sailing areas over the world. The study offers a number of cruising areas over the world and prescentage of cruises on each ocean. Analysing the offers of cruises and with the systematic showing of monthly or annual number of travels as well as capacity of ships and predominant lenght of cruises by each area of the world.
