HEALTH AND SAFETY MEASURES IN PLYWOOD PRODUCTION

Abstract

The paper presents the complete plywood and veneer production line in a factory. Despite the fact that the technology is not very old, there were a series of problems that needed to be addressed. Occupational health and safety measures in plywood production need to be implemented until the manufacturers begin to make modern equipment that will alleviate most of the problems.
The paper presents important required measures intended to protect health and safety in the plywood production process. Their implementation reduces production costs, the rate of sick leaves and litigation, whereby the existing legislation and standards are of great help.
