Abstract

Transdental implants or transdental, i.e. transradicular tooth fixation,
is the fixation of a shortened or reduced tooth root into the bone by an alloplastic implant. Along with a description of the method and implants used, the author also describes his own implants, i.e. the droplet orthodontic clasp. The technique of performance of such implants in ostitic processes, radicular cysts and tooth root fractures is presented. Good experiences have been obtained so far and the method has been found financially acceptable.
