Abstract

Cephalometric measurements have a considerable role in prosthetic dentistry, in modern scientific investigations and in routine practice. Therefore, the author believes that it is possible to construct a mechanism which precisely transfers the measurements from cephaiometdic radiographs to individual articulatros. For this purpose, the author has created a table for the analysis of cephalometric radiographs. The table consists of a movable rotating disc with a transparent bearer for radiographs and a measuring instrument fixed
on table surface. The radiographs are fixed by means of a rotating disc, so that the selected straight line parallels the initial line of the measuring instrument. In this way, it is possible to read the values of radiographs accurately and fast; that is, either the degrees of angles and deviation of any structures or mutual distances of the investigated cephaiometric points. This table can be applied in different dental disciplines, if precise data are needed for the angles of deflection of the chosen cephalometric direction or plane.

Keywords
