Corrosion protection in reinforced-concrete structures

Abstract

The procedure for protecting reinforcement against corrosion in reinforced-concrete structures using corrosion inhibitors based on amines (migratory corrosion inhibitors) and anticorrosive materials containing such inhibitors, is described in the paper. Quality criteria and composition of anticorrosive materials and systems for the protection of both new and existing reinforced-concrete structures are considered. The technological procedure used for the preparation and placement of such materials, and the quality of concrete bedding, are also described.
