The Relationship between congenital and acquired orthodontic anomalies in crhildren of the Split region

Abstract
The author reports about the data obtained by different, mostly Yugoslav authors, in this field of research. Her own researches included 1117 children between 1 — 16 years of age of both sexes. Results, presented in graphs and tables, point, in general, at a larger number of anomalies in females. Follow some details related to different types of anomalies. An analysis shows that the acquired anomalies are more frequent than the congenital ones. Since the investigation was made on a rather small sample the results must be regarded as merely preliminar.
