Bibliographis description of manuscripts and incunabula

Abstract

The paper deals with the principles of the manuscript and incunabula bibliographic description in two different systems. The first one is based on MARC format, while the second one is based on the Markup Language. The author discusses their advantages and disadvantages. Also, the tools which convert MARC format into the XML system are presented.
