Reconstruction of the incisal angle by achorage by means of pins

Abstract

In therapeutic dentistry the problem of reconstruction of class IV after G. V. Black by means of inlays and inlays with acrylic have not proved to be ideal solutions from the point of view of aesthetics. Thanks to a combination of anchorage by means of a pin and new acryLic-silicate materials which are of better transparency and greater hardness we have today better chances of reconstructing defects in the incisal angle. The authors have investigated anchorage by means of a pinlay (TMS system) on a material of approximately 70 teeth and good results have been achieved.
