Modern diagnostics of parodontal diseases

Abstract

Numerous pathogenous agents affect the parodontium. Their aggressive effect is reflected in disorder of the anatomic and functional integrity of the parodontium. It is therefore important toestablish in the diagnostic procedure which elements of the parodontium have been involved. The prognosis of the diseases and the therapeutic success depend on these findings.
