Ethnographic Notes From the Island of Vis

Abstract

The Croatian Ministry of Culture project "Research and Documentation of Ethnographic Heritage" in the year of 2001 took place on the island of Vis, where the team of ethnologists and architects did a seven-day fieldwork. Since this island has not been dealt with in ethnological writings (except for the Split Ethnographic Museum's archival materials from the 1950s and 60s), the aim was to collect as many data on traditional culture as possible.
