Abstract

In the introduction the authors mention reimplantation of teeth where endodontic treatment is not possible.Based on the very good results obtained by application of metal internal implants after resection of the tip of the root the authors decided to carry out reimplantation by means of metal-endo-osseous implants of the premolars and molars.
Since the material for the implants is metal and it is not in contact with the oral cavity, there exists no possibility of infection and sequestration. It is assumed that in this way the duration of the reimplanted tooth will last longer than the implant without metal and the authors believe their method gives better results. The authors moreover review their method of work and describe a few of their cases.
