The principle of economy in education

Abstract
The author suggests that the principle of economy should be applied in up-to-date study of dentistry, in order to attain better results in the professional education of students, while saving time, teaching personnel and financial means. He proposes an intensification of curriculum and a better motivation of studens during the teaching process. The subjects should be tought in phases. The students should be first acquainted with the basic concepts of a subject, later on they would study the subject on a broader basis, and finally, they would be able to choose independently and competently the best method to be applied. In such a way the students would be better motivated to learn the theory and practice, and this would result in an optimal therapeutical service.
