Abstract

In 2012, with the financial and other support of the Ministry of Culture, the Nova Bukovica Municipality and the Heritage Museum in Slatina, the Institute of Archaeology continued with systematic archaeological investigations of the prehistoric site Nova Bukovica-Sjenjak. The work brings the first results of these investigations, with special emphasis on the typology of the finds. A special place among them is given to pits with a wealth of Late Bronze Age material and a dug-in feature with eaves, presumably a work pit from the Late Iron Age that appeared on the site for the first time.
