The plant bug Platycranus (Genistocapsus) metriorrhynchus Reuter, 1883 (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Miridae: Orthotylinae: Orthotylini) is recorded from Croatia for the first time, based on specimens collected in the Biokovo Mountains (Central Dalmatia).
