Abstract

The author describes some possibilities of election manipulation through the "tailoring" of voting areas. This procedure is often called gerrymandering and its purpose is to secure a desirable voting result through administratively dividing or fusing the electoral body in the voting areas. By reshaping of this kinda necessary majority can be achieved and, equally so, the expected number of votes for the opposite party can be reduced.
