Abstract

In this article, the creation of a prayer-meditative community in the parish community is considered. The plan and program of parish catechesis, entitled Parish Catechesis in the Renewal of the Parish Community, encourages the renewal of the parish community using catechesis and the formation of the parish community as a community of communities. One of the communities that have their place in the life and activity of the parish community is the prayer-meditative community.
Man has always had an intrinsic longing to be close to God. Today, man seeks places of peace and prayer, places of encounter with God, one's neighbors and oneself. Reading the signs of the times, the parish community wants to offer the person such desired places, one of which can be a prayer-meditative community.
The first part of the article speaks about a prayer-meditative community in the light of the plan and program of parish catechesis, Parish Catechesis in the Renewal of the Parish Community.
The second part contains a proposed program for the activity of a prayer-meditative community during a pastoral year.
