Campus Ministry in Osijek

Abstract

A student chaplain from the Holy Spirit Society has been active at the "Josip Juraj Strossmayer" university since Octobar 2006. This article shows the way the new chaplain settled in his new post and his first activities in the campus ministry in Osijek. We should especially point out "Duhos", the spirituality of students of Osijek. Duhos includes several activities such as pilgrimages, weekly prayer encounters, charity drives and spiritual counseling. Duhos is also the name of the Internet portal where students can chat with their chaplain on topics such as spirituality and other questions or problems. The article shows what has been achieved thus far, points to future plans and expectations and presents some important features of the student life in Osijek.
