[Effect of mycostatics on eliminating oral candida albicans and reducing the intensity of stomatopyrosis]

Abstract

The effect of the agent, Myconazole, was compared With the well-known anti-mycotic, Nostatin. The investigation was conducted on 40 patients with Stomatitis candidomycetica , confirmed by the Candida Miorostix test. Elimination of oral Candida was registered by the Mi-crostix test, and the intensity of stomatopyrosis was evaluated on a 0— 3 scale. Micron a zole eliminated Candida in the majority of examinees after 7 days, and Nystatin after 11 days. The intensity of stomatoipyrosis was reduced 8 days after the application of Myconazole and 11 days after the administration of Nystatin.
