Abstract
The effects of a drug may be modified by prior or conçurent administration of another drug. Today there is an increasing tendency for two or more drugs to be taken simultaneously (partly in consequence of increasing number of chronic patients). Every detist must be aware that one medication may interact with other drugs and produce undesired effects in th patient. The dentist must know the potentialities of the intractions, patient’s overall health and medical status and to discuss intended therapy with physician who has instituted earlier medications. Drugs interactions that may occure in dental practice are summarized in tables.
