The marketing strategy of Croatian agriculture
Ante Kolega
Abstract
The earlier (1945—1990) schematized
patterns of agricultural development in
Croatia resulted in low productivity, small
holdings, poor efficiency. Production was
expensive on both the private and
socially-owned sectors and this (among
other things) made the market structure
of agriculture impossible. The author also
gives a short analysis of the organizational
and production structure of Croatian
agriculture and uses it as a basis for
recommendations for future development.
