Abstract

The proposal for improving building maintenance management practices is presented. It is asserted that maintenance activities, and hence maintenance equipment, should be planned already at the stage of building design preparation. The content of the proposed maintenance design is presented. A single set of forms making up the maintenance documentation is proposed to ensure better efficiency. This set of forms should be updated after every inspection of the structure. An integral system, quite helpful in determining building maintenance priorities, is presented.
