Newspapers and Journals among Croats in Bačka from the Time of Ivan Antunović to 1941

Abstract
The review first aims at drawing attention to the number of newspapers and journals among the Croats of Bačka, to their social significance up to 1918, and to their substantial (content) and linguistic traits after the Trianon division of 1941. Editors, publishers and places of printing are presented in a separate section of the review. In the conclusion several comments are given regarding the significance of newspapers and journals in awaking consciousness and preserving the national identity.
