Computer and Laboratory Modelling of the Analysis of Closing up of Metallurgical Defects in Ingots During Free Hot Forgings

Abstract
Computer modelling using a FEM-based program, Forge 2DŇ, was carried out in the study. The influence of die shape and the main parameters of the forging process on closing up of metallurgical defects were determined.
