Abstract
The article deals with the role of youth labour actions in the transformation process of the Bosnian-Herzegovinan society into the new socialist society. The paper is timelimited by the years 1945 and 1952, since in that period the construction of the socialist society started most decisively and the youth labour actions were also the most extensive. On the basis of the archival documents and the existing literature, one is led to the conclusion that the youth labour actions were ventures burdened by numerous difficulties for the Communist Party as their organizer, but that they represented an excellent opportunity for the indoctrination of youth with socialist ideals as well.
