LIFE AND LITERARY WORK OF IVAN DEŽMAN

Abstract

Ivan Dežman is a Croatian writer who wrote a considerable amount of literary and medical works. At one time he was considered a very outstanding writer, physician and intellectual, but his work was later evaluated differently. Nevertheless, his intellectual and literary personality in some aspects of his life and work may seem actual even today.
