Abstract
In this paper, the static and dynamic adsorption of copper (II) ions from wastewater by waste from foundry was studied. Waste molding mixture from iron and steel foundry was used as adsorbent. Water from thermal power plant was used as water contaminated with copper (II) ions. Obtained results show that the foundry waste may be used as a good adsorbent for the removal of copper ions by using static and dynamic adsorption process.
