Abstract

In this paper we presented a patient with a very rare form of pancreatic tumour. The disease began with very non-specific abdominal pain, loss of appetite, and vomiting, mostly mucus. Proximal endoscopy was
performed which revealed hiatal hernia and ulcer in the duodenum. Computed tomography of the abdomen showed a tumour formation in the tail of the pancreas, which was surgically removed. Histopathological
verification confirmed that it was a solid pseudopapillary tumour of the pancreas. The patient is on regular oncological control.
