of a wide variety of esters to carboxylic acids. The reactions were performed in tetrahydrofuran
under mild reaction conditions with high to quantitative yields.

Keywords

esters; carboxylic acids; sodium trimethylsilanolate; potassium trimethylsilanolate; nucleophilic substitution
