The State of Organised Education in the Požega-Slavonia County in the Academic Year 2012/2013

Abstract
This presentation will give an overview of the situation in education in the Požega- Slavonia County, from preschools, primary schools, secondary schools to higher education institutions, with a special focus on their founding rights. This research will include the number of preschool children in educational groups, and the number of pupils and teaching staff in primary schools, secondary schools and higher education institutions. The accomodation of students in student dormitories is an important segment of education, so it shall also be discussed. After a detailed review of the situation in education in the Požega- Slavonia County, indicators will be shown which illustrate the pedagogical standards in our educational institutions. We shall detect problems in education, and point out the basic guidelines for the development of education in the Požega-Slavonia County.
