Abstract

A practical and technically acceptable method for modeling connection between two stone walls perpendicular to one another is described in the paper. In addition, a proposal is given for the post-elastic non-linear behavior of the wall subjected to load in its own plane and perpendicular to it, and for the element that defines their relationship in space. This enables spatial modeling of old stone buildings belonging to national monument heritage. The obtained model can then be used to conduct a seismic analysis in the non-linear area, which is followed by interpretation of the failure mechanism.
