Public servants' motivation as a factor of administrative efficiency

Abstract
Public servants’ motivation is observed in the context of changed expectations with regard to public administration and the quality of its services. Motivation and the related concepts (e.g. organisational culture) are described. The author mentions and briefly comments the results of her research conducted in Varaždinska County in 2005.
