Short Glossary Of Nautical, Fishing And Maritime Affairs Terminology

Abstract

A short glossary of nautical, fishing and maritime affairs terminology analyses the concepts and insufficiently known expressions related to the themes of life by the sea and at sea. The majority of the expressions explained have a local origin. They are related to Italian language which was dominant for centuries, but they also have a characteristic local (language) stamp.
