Italian Seicento Masters - Proposed and Positive Attributions

Abstract

The author's long-standing research and study of old masters' works in private and public eollections of Croatia and Yugoslavia has resulted in a number of indicated as well as definitive attri- butions. The paper deals with the Italian masters of the 17th century: F. Bassano, G. Forabosco, A. Carneo, G. Carpioni, P. Negri, F. Rosa, G. Molinari, M. Liberi, G. Lazzarini, P. Pagani, A. Zanchi, A. Litterini and S. Forcellini.
