Abstract
ln order to evaluate the efficacy of continued HeNe and impulse GaAs laser in
treating sport injuries the laser treatment of the sport injuries has been applied on 84 (43
+ 41) professional sportsmen after injuries. The research proved the pain considerably
relived after 10 therapeutic treatments. lt also showed the swelling considerably
decreasing and the contractures resulting from the injuries considerably reduced in both
groups.
On the basis of these results the laser treatment, in both groups proved, is one of the
most useful physiotherapeutic approaches in treating sport injuries.
