Abstract
ln this work 48 patients with diagnosis of COPD who were subject to
breathing exercises are reported. I was looking for connection between this sort of
therapy and it's innuence on the changes in spirometry parameters (FVC. FEYI) as
well as changes of movements of diaphragm (PD) and expandion of thorax (OT).
The results show the excellent connection between breathing exercises and changes
in spirometry paramete rs and very good corellation between movement of diaphragm
(increasing) and changes in FYC and FEYl (increasing). They also show the
necessity and justifiableness of this sort of therapy in the regimen of ordinary
therapy of patients with COPD.
